Rich's SpaceLook, I have a blog!
January 26 Spaces and PhotosFinally uploaded my pictures from the europe trip. Now that I can upload 500 pic/month, I've uploaded 5 folders of pictures in chronological order. About 350 total. Check them out! :) April 08 Woohoo! 30MB QuotaMSN Spaces and Messenger is out of Beta. Congrats everybody! Nicest thing about the release for me is the quota increase from 10MB to 30MB. I pretty much blew all my quota in one shot after uploading pictures from my last vacation. Now the quota is increased just in time for my upcoming trip. Good Timing. :) April 02 No PSP for meSo, I picked up a PSP (The new Sony "Gameboy" for those non-gamers out there) last Friday, a day after it's launched in the US. But I finally returned it today. Maybe it's just me, but it doesn't look like there are a lot of (if any) games I am dying to play. I even looked up upcoming games and there might be a few franchise games (Final Fantasy, GTA, Devil May Cry) I *might* want to play, but they don't even have release dates yet. The PSP hardware is pretty amazing though. I got to play with one when I was in Japan last november and the biggest impression I had was the nice screen. After seeing it again last week when a buddy of mine at work picked one up, I was even more impressed. The super sharp wide screen just looks so damn good. I wouldn't mind keeping it just to play movies. But then I'd have to buy movies in the PSP disc format (No way!), or store movies in large memory stick (Expensive!). Even then I can't really bring a whole bunch of movies on the road, simply because the largest memory stick available barely fits one movie at the highest quality. I just couldn't think of a good reason to keep the thing. I keep thinking, it'll be awesome if only it supports external usb harddrives. If I can put movies on my 20gb ipod and watch it through the PSP, I'll pick one up right away. Maybe those psp-linux guys could support this once they figure out how to put linux on the psp... March 28 Once upon a time in... CompUSASaw this at the Bellevue CompUSA in the weekend. For all I know the master chief might have been dressed up like this for months but I thought it was pretty funny. In case anyone is wondering, the nametag is a regular CompUSA staff name tag and it says "Master Chief". Oh, and this marks the first time my cell phone is used for taking semi-useful picture (depends on your definition of usefulness). The quality aint too bad with the bright lights at CompUSA. |
